Dr Cheong Lai Leng is an experienced dermatologist with over 20 years of experience in laser skin procedures. As such, Dr Cheong will be able to accurately identify the nature of your skin condition and determine the most suitable laser treatment for you.
Qualifications:
CoolTouch3
Allows you to regain smooth skin through collagen regeneration.
A cooling mist protects and cools the epidermis, the skin's surface layer. Photons of laser energy pass through the epidermis and are absorbed in the layers of the skin where collagen is produced. This triggers a repair mechanism, and your body begins to rebuild and replenish your own natural collagen.
Fractional CO2 Laser (Laser Resurfacing)
New treatment for pigmentary disturbances, wrinkles, scars and sagging skin.
The CO2 laser generates heat in the deeper dermis and this heat is needed to stimulate new collagen production. The nature of the laser beam minimizes the damage to the surrounding tissue so that the patient heals sooner.
At the same time, fractional technology leaves bridges of healthy tissue intact between the laser beams to accelerate tissue healing.
VBeam Laser
FTargets blood vessels and gets rid of broken veins. It is effective in reducing redness of the skin and is very useful for the treatment of red birthmarks.
Pigmentation & Tattoo Removal
Laser can now be used to remove blue, brown, black and other colours of tattoo pigment and birthmarks from the skin.
Removal of Skin Growths (e.g. moles, warts)
A dermatologist is a doctor who, after five years of working in general medicine, went on to undergo at least three more years of intensive, specialised medical and surgical training in dermatology; making him/her the most qualified doctor to utilise laser skin treatments safely and effectively.
Furthermore, medical-grade laser machines can only be legally operated by registered doctors.
This depends very much on the severity of your current skin condition, the type of procedure being administered and the amount of care you take after the procedure. However, your dermatologist will give you an estimate of how much improvement you can expect during the first consultation itself.
No. You are strongly advised to make an appointment with our staff to ensure that a timeslot is allocated for our dermatologist to meet you. Please call or email us for an appointment.
The first consultation fee is $120, excluding medication and procedural costs.
